If you are a resident of the 24:1 Community facing a COVID-related hardship in paying your rent or mortgage, help is available from Beyond Housing.
The nonprofit has received government funding to provide assistance for up to 6 months rent and mortgage payments any time between Jan. 1, 2021 and Dec. 31, 2022.
To apply, you must live in the Normandy school district and have proof of how COVID has impacted you—for example, a termination letter, unemployment benefit stub, foreclosure letter, or eviction letter. You will also need to show a signed lease or copy of your mortgage statement.
Certain limitations based on income and rent/mortgage level apply. Residents of Beyond Housing rental units are not eligible for this opportunity (but please contact your Housing Resource Coordinator to learn about other programs that can help you).
Funds are available while they last on a first-come, first-served basis.
To apply, submit an application online. You will hear back from a representative via email or phone while your application is being processed.
If you don’t quality for this program, here’s a list of other resources for rent, mortgage, and utility assistance.
