If you missed the webinar, you can still watch the presentation video.

As part of our ongoing efforts to support the small businesses of the 24:1 Community, 24:1 Small Business Network worked with University of Missouri-St. Louis, MU Extension, North County, Inc., the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership, and MOSourceLink to offer an online information session with a panel of experts and local lenders on how to apply for federal funds that are available through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The CARES Act provides financial assistance for small businesses, nonprofits and religious institutions with fewer than 500 employees.

The session explains the various funding opportunities for small businesses in North St. Louis County, including the newly released funds for the SBA Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan. The PPP Loan program provides a loan of up to 2.5 times your monthly payroll.

The PPP loan is a forgivable loan to help you continue paying your employees with additional forgiveness for funds used for rent, utilities, and other select expenses. The program is not based on you or your business’ credit and any business in need of funds should consider applying for this program.
