Health officials have updated the list of symptoms for COVID-19.

People who are infected with this new coronavirus may have a dry cough, fever above 100.4, sore throat, chills (sometimes with repeated shaking), muscle pain, headaches, and a sudden loss of taste or smell.

COVID-19 is spread through touching (people or surfaces), sneezing, coughing, and sharing utensils. The elderly, pregnant women, and those with chronic health conditions are most at risk.

If you or your loved ones have symptoms and you don’t have a doctor, please call the St. Louis County Health Department at 314-615-2660.
