Stream Team Cleanup Event

Saturday, May 15

Location: Along Natural Bridge Road from North Oaks Plaza to Jennings Station Road

Sign up now!

One year after the world stood still due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Stream Team will pick up where they left off with their first cleanup event!

The event will be held on May 15 from 8 AM to 11 AM, with a contingency date for rain to be announced soon. Members of the community-led Stream Team and residents will team up to clean local areas within the 24:1 footprint.

The event will be the first of many organized by the 24:1 Environmental Health committee in partnership with the Greenway Network Inc. and the Missouri Department of Conservation, with cleanup events scheduled at least once a month, so don’t worry If you miss the first one. The first event will be held along Natural Bridge, starting at North Oaks Plaza, and the cleanup will move along the road, ending at Jennings Station Road.

To adhere to current COVID guidelines, volunteers are encouraged to bring their own water bottles, a mask, and anything they feel they may need during cleanup. But remember—you will be getting your steps in, so you may want to keep it light!

Coffee, donuts, trash bags, and gloves will be provided as well.

The event will highlight areas of the community that have seen the least amount of cleanup within the footprint with hopes of creating a cleaner, and greener, 24:1 Community. Volunteers are encouraged to visit the 24:1 Stream Team Monthly Cleanup Facebook event page to get more information and invite friends.
