TreeKeepers Class
Feb. 17-Mar. 24
6:00-8:00 PM

The six-week TreeKeepers class is designed for St. Louis-area residents who are curious about how to care for the trees in their yards—or who want to plant new trees but aren’t sure where to start.

Topics include:

  • Tree identification
  • Biology
  • Soils
  • Planting
  • Pruning
  • Insects and disease

The free class is offered virtually each Wednesday, Feb. 17 to March 24, from 6-8PM. Graduates are asked to volunteer for 24 hours with Forest ReLeaf, which hosts the class, or with forestry-related projects in our community.

Beyond Housing is sponsoring the TreeKeeper class along with the Missouri Department of Conservation. If you would like to spend your 24 volunteer hours supporting Beyond Housing’s environmental initiatives, contact Community Forester Doug Seely at or 314-376-5630.
