Have you ever looked around your community and thought, “That could be better”?
Do you wonder why a dangerous intersection never gets fixed?
Do you know neighbors who struggle to find healthy food, mental health support, or other resources?
Do you wish there were more trees, cleaner streets, or better places for people to gather?
Have you ever wondered how decisions get made in your community—or how you could have a greater voice in them?
That’s why Beyond Housing is launching the 24:1 Community Collectives—a new opportunity for residents to learn, connect, build leadership skills, and take action on issues that matter to their communities.
Participants will meet as needed—either in person or online—over the next few weeks, with final presentations scheduled for the week of November 16th, 2026.
Beyond Housing staff, community leaders, and guest speakers will be available while working together on a project designed to create a positive impact on behalf of the community.
Whether you want to help residents have a stronger voice, create a healthier community, or improve the environment where you live, there’s a place for you.

Topics include: Civic engagement, local government, advocacy, public speaking, community organizing, and helping resident voices be heard.
If you’re passionate about helping neighbors live healthier lives and connecting people with valuable resources, this Collective is for you.
The Health & Wellness Collective will bring residents together to learn more about the issues affecting community well-being and help connect people with resources and opportunities to live healthier lives.
Topics include: Physical and mental health, stress management, healthy lifestyles, community wellness, and connecting residents with valuable resources.
Participants will design and host a small wellness activation connecting residents to local health and wellness resources.
If you care about cleaner neighborhoods, greener spaces, and creating healthier places for everyone to live, this Collective is for you.
The Environmental Justice Collective will bring residents together to explore environmental issues affecting the 24:1 Community and identify opportunities to improve neighborhood quality of life.

The 24:1 Community Collectives are for people who care about their communities and want to learn, connect, and be part of making them stronger.
