A community session uniting all party candidates in statewide and countywide elections will be held at the University of Missouri-St. Louis on Wednesday, July 17, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at UMSL’s EdCollabitat Room South Campus, located at 1 University Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63121.
Organized by Alpha, Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., St. Louis Metropolitan Area, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., St. Louis Alumnae Chapter, League of Women Voters, and NAACP of St. Louis County, this community session will unite all party candidates running for statewide and countywide offices, providing an opportunity for residents to hear directly from those vying to represent them.
Alpha, Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. says the event aims to foster a more informed electorate by allowing candidates to present their platforms and share their views on pressing statewide/community issues.
