Beyond Housing is proud to partner with the Missouri Department of Conservation through the Community Forestry Cost Share Program to secure funding that strengthens community forests across the 24:1.
Through this collaboration, we supported hazardous tree mitigation, invasive plant removal, tree inventories, and the purchase of public works equipment; helping municipalities and partners build the capacity to care for their urban forests and natural areas long-term.
These efforts contribute to safer neighborhoods, improved environmental health, and more resilient communities.
Participating partners include Bel-Nor, Bel-Ridge, Hanley Hills, Hillsdale, Normandy, Northwoods, Pasadena Hills, Pasadena Park, Velda City, Vinita Park, the University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL), Normandie Golf Course, and Historic Greenwood Cemetery.
