more than $100 million raised and invested
in the community
since 2010

The economic development work in the 24:1 Community has focused on commercial properties. For example, local organization, Beyond Housing, owns and operates space for local small businesses that provide goods and services our community has prioritized during ongoing community visioning.

Thus far, with residents’ input, they have brought a grocery store, bank, healthcare services, office space, a movie theater, sit-down restaurant dining, and retail space into the 24:1 Community, with more projects in the works.

They know that engaging and supporting start-ups, entrepreneurs, and longtime local businesses of all sizes will result in a stronger tax base, increased employment opportunities for local workers, and more places for residents to shop, dine, and enjoy entertainment in surrounding areas.

Active community projects

They did a year and a half of community engagement & crime data analysis to identify community safety priorities and came up with the following.
  • PAGEDALE TOWN CENTER – A new town center on Page Avenue that includes a new multi-plex cinema, food hall, event space, a commercial learning kitchen, Propel Kitchens, retirement center, bank, financial center, healthcare facility and a brand new grocery store, Fields Foods, giving residents access to affordable, healthy food.
  • 24:1 Municipal Government Partnership – Local municipalities now collaborate on key services improving services for citizens and saving municipalities over $1 million.
