Free high-speed internet is now available to qualifying Americans through the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). Eligible households can receive $30 off their internet bill per month — and alongside the program, 20 of the top internet providers are offering these households a plan within that $30 cap, including AT&T and Charter Spectrum. This means families utilizing the ACP benefit may receive high-speed internet for free.

There are three ways to qualify for ACP:

  1. Meeting income criteria
  2. Current participation in certain assistance programs
  3. Meeting eligibility defined by your internet service provider
