The Black Rep produces plays and musicals by primarily African-American and international playwrights. They also offer classes and workshops for adults and children, as well as touring productions, summer arts programs, professional internships, and teen tech training. Their mission is to provide platforms for theatre, dance, and other creative expressions from the African-American perspective that heighten the social and cultural awareness of its audiences.
